Welcome to the Web site of Buxton Methodist Circuit which we hope will tell you a little more about our Circuit, its Churches, activities and people. We hope you enjoy browsing.
About our Circuit.
Our circuit which is in the Manchester & Stockport District has eight Churches located in and around Buxton and the Peak District National Park which is a wonderful place for a holiday or week end break.
We have a variety of worship within the circuit and you can be assured of a warm welcome at each of our Churches.

Our Circuit Superintendent is the Rev Colin Smith who can be seen all over the circuit which is in two counties Derbyshire & Staffordshire. Colin has been in this circuit since September 05 and he has taken to the challenge and opportunities with relish.
He is supported by Roger Mallard our Children & Young People Worker and an active Lay Leadership Team.
As our former Deacon Al Henry & his family move to Leeds we wish them every good wish and thank Al for the work he did in this Circuit especially at Fairfield.
We are looking forward to meeting in September Rev Richard Mottershead who will be welcomed to the circuit at a Service at Fairfield Methodist Church at 7:30pm on 10th September when the preacher will be the Chair of District Rev Keith Davies
The area we live in has some amazing scenery but it also has its share of problems. These include inner town deprivation in parts of the Fairfield area of Buxton and the less recognised but real, rural deprivation in other parts of the Circuit.
